I broke up with him.

Visitors Story:
I met somebody new and started getting close to him. Before it got very far, I decided to break up with my current boyfriend because it was not fair to him that I was having feelings for somebody else.

We went for a drive and I told him, but I was so emotional I ended up breaking down and sobbing as I told him. We were best friends, but I was not in love with him, and that's what I told him. He was also very upset, but he acted like a perfect gentleman.

We have stayed friends, but of course it has never been the same since. I am happy, because I am now happily married to the new guy with two children, but sometimes I miss the close, wonderful friendship I had with my ex-boyfriend.
