Getting In Close

Visitors Story:
I knew that the girl I was interested in was a very serious sports fan, but it was tough to get seats where you can see anything at the college we went to. I'm not a jock, but I am pretty limber, so I asked the person who usually played the Mascot to give me a turn doing the halftime show.

As the person with me she got to be right there practically on the field, got to meet the players, and got to help me in and out of the costume. I got to show community pride, she got the best view of the action, and she got to participate, helping me.

After a shower (those costumes are really hot!) we went out to a late night snack, and looked over the great pictures she got to take. I was hero of the day, and all of her friends were so envious!
